About the Cover
The cover shows rat retinal ganglion cells cultured in three-compartmented
dishes. Cell bodies are plated in the center compartment (right) and
extend axons along tracks (three shown) under a divider (shaded bar)
into a side compartment (left), which contains pure distal axons. Cell
bodies/dendrites are stained with anti-MAP2 (green); axons are stained
with anti-tau (red). For details see the article by
