About the Cover

Cover Figure

On The Cover: Merged fluorescence image of a spherical cell cluster derived from mouse pancreatic acinar cells stained to show E-cadherin (red), F-actin (green), and nuclei (blue). Isolated acinar cells form smooth spheroids in suspension culture with epidermal growth factor; spheroid formation is critical for transdifferentiation into insulin-secreting cells. For details see the article by Minami et al., pages 13753–13761.
